2002

Founding and Breaking the Deadlock

In December 2002, ATECH was founded in the Wuhu Xinghuo Industrial Park with an initial registered capital of 2 million yuan;
At that time, China’s automotive electronics market was virtually monopolized by foreign giants such as Bosch, Continental, and Delphi. From the very beginning, E-Tech’s mission was focused on the core objective: breaking the foreign monopoly and achieving the localization of automotive electronic components.

2003

The Starting Point: From 0 to 1

In the early stages of the company’s founding, the domestic automotive electronics sector was virtually nonexistent. ATECH chose body control modules as its entry point because this product serves as the “nerve center” of the vehicle and, for automakers, is a “highly integrated, highly customized” product.

In 2003, ATECH’s first body control unit passed installation testing at Chery, resulting in a sharp cost reduction of 30% and validating the feasibility of the breakthrough strategy of “domestic substitution, rapid response, and deep customization.”

That same year, ATECH’s first instrument cluster product—the “Son of the East” auxiliary instrument cluster—rolled off the production line. This product marked the “zero-to-one” starting point for ATECH’s in-vehicle multimedia business and launched the company on its long journey from single-instrument clusters to a full-scale push into smart cockpits.

2005

The Bus War
Toward Smart Technology
The Path to Networked Connectivity

In 2005, the company successfully launched its first independently designed automotive instrument cluster and front/rear body control unit products based on a CAN network architecture. These products represented an innovative application of CAN bus technology in China and were successfully integrated into mass production for vehicles under the company’s own brand;

That same year, the company successfully launched its first independently designed CAN network architecture automotive instrument cluster and body control unit, marking E-Tech’s formal commitment to a development path focused on intelligent and connected technologies.

Brand Heritage
Acquisition of Wuhu Instrument Factory

2007–2008

Spreading Leaves
Business Matrix Expansion

In 2007, the first-generation body control unit and platform-based key designed by ATECH for Changan Automobile entered mass production, further expanding the company’s body domain product portfolio. This marked the beginning of the company’s business portfolio—centered on body control units—to branch out and expand.

In 2008, leveraging its accumulated expertise in body-domain technology, the company strategically entered the powertrain domain of new energy vehicles and successfully achieved mass production of a series of supporting products, including battery management systems, motor controllers, and vehicle control units, thereby further expanding its business scope.

2012

A Powerhouse Partnership
Building a New In-Vehicle Multimedia Platform

The year 2012 marked a pivotal turning point for ATECH as it expanded from instrument panels to the entire vehicle cockpit. On April 25, Bosch China, Chery Automobile, and Australia-based ATECH formally signed an agreement in Beijing to establish a joint venture for the development and production of automotive multimedia products, including instrument clusters and infotainment systems. The three parties will integrate ATECH’s existing automotive multimedia operations in Wuhu.

2016–2018

Yilada
A New Player Expanding into the In-Vehicle ADAS Sector

In 2016, the company established Yilada Radar Technology, which specializes in automotive millimeter-wave radar technology, In 2018, the company achieved a breakthrough in 77GHz high-frequency technology—which was strictly restricted by overseas industry giants at the time—and began mass production of 77GHz automotive millimeter-wave radar based on a domestically produced chip platform, taking a leading role in the localization of millimeter-wave radar technology.

2021

Botech
The Return of Mutual Pursuit

In 2021, ATECH officially entered the smart cockpit sector by acquiring full ownership of Botek. Botek operates state-of-the-art final assembly lines and SMT production lines for smart cockpit products, bringing core product lines such as cockpit domain controllers, in-vehicle displays, and digital instrument clusters to ATECH.

2021–2024

Deepening and Upgrading

Chassis + Powertrain Domain

The company focuses on electronic control systems for the body and powertrain domains, continuously introducing cutting-edge technologies such as tire pressure monitoring, adaptive anti-pinch systems, and keyless entry and ignition. Product offerings have evolved from single body controllers to Body Domain Controllers (BDC) and Vehicle Information Units (VIU). Developed using high-specification MCU chips, the products integrate a wide range of communication resources, including CAN-FD and Ethernet, and support the AUTOSAR and NEUSAR software architectures, achieving deep decoupling between hardware and software.

Cockpit Domain

In 2024, ATECH successfully developed a high-performance MediaTek cockpit domain controller platform, achieving full-stack development capabilities for in-vehicle cockpits and establishing a comprehensive product portfolio that includes intelligent cockpit domain controllers, digital instrument clusters, and in-vehicle displays.

ADAS Domain

Yilada’s flagship product, the 77 GHz millimeter-wave radar, serves as a core perception sensor for ADAS and is widely used in functions such as blind spot detection and lane change assistance.
In 2023, Yilada’s radar products received certification from Huawei’s MDC Intelligent Driving Platform. The product line has also continued to expand beyond millimeter-wave radar and now includes hybrid solid-state lidar designed for Level 2 and Level 3 ADAS systems.

2025–2026

Comprehensive Rollout and Market Launch

The company has comprehensively expanded its capabilities in the vehicle body domain, smart cockpit domain, and intelligent driving domain to support the intelligent transformation of complete vehicles, while conducting research on cross-domain integration technologies. The company was a pioneer in adopting SOA-based intelligent vehicle control technology and has actively promoted the use of domestically produced chips, resulting in a steady increase in the proportion of domestically produced chips used. According to statistics from the Gaogong Intelligent Automotive Research Institute, Aitec has ranked first in market share for four consecutive years in the field of factory-installed, standard-equipped body (domain) controllers for Chinese independent-brand passenger vehicles, and for two consecutive years in the field of standard-equipped physical keys.
On January 20, 2026, the company’s IPO application was officially approved; on April 16, it was officially listed on the Main Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, stock code: 603293
